Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many people does 1 Veggie Share feed?

A: It depends on if you're using the produce for snacking or side dishes compared to using vegetables as the main feature of a meal. We typically suggest a Veggie Only share will provide side dishes for 3-4 meals for a 3-4 person family.  Vegan customers and largest families often order multiple Shares per week.

Q: What is your delivery radius and policy?

A: We are only delivering to residents with mailing addresses in Philadelphia, Bala Cynwyd, Wynnwood, Narberth, Merion, Darby, and Lansdowne.

There is a flat $10/order fee built into all delivery orders to cover both the delivery service fee plus a tip for your driver.

Q: What is your pickup policy? What happens if I don't pickup my order?

A: If customer does not choose the delivery option at checkout, customer is responsible for pickup of order on Thursdays at 1339 Green Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 between 11AM - 1PM or 2PM 3:30PM. Orders not picked up during this time will be donated to a family in need.

Q: Are the produce products organic?

A: Approximately 70% - 90% of our rotating suppliers use organic practices, depending on the time of the year and the suppliers we're curating from that particular week. We always provide insight into our current suppliers on our Farms Page and we select our suppliers based on the quality of their food and the integrity of their businesses. Read more here:
